The Eat N' Park Christmas commercial. It's a cartoon of a star trying to get to the top of a Christmas Tree. He keeps trying and trying and he can't make it. All of a sudden the tree bends down to pick it up and it's now all sparkly at the top. Really simple but something of an old tradition. I know it's on YouTube somewhere

It feels a lot better to do something nice for someone else than for yourself, though that's advice I could use even now.

Of Hughes' films, I can't decide between Ferris Bueller and The Breakfast Club. On the one hand, you have adorable Matthew Broderick and some truly iconic scenes - the German street fair, the car going out the window - but then on the other, you have The Breakfast Club which is such a huge part of pop culture now. 1. For a short period of time, my 4-person family lived in my Grandmother's two-bedroom house in Bethesda, Ohio.
2. None of the pets we owned as I was growing up died while under our care.
3. I had a solo singing role in my high-school's production of Grease.

Plopping down at a Starbucks with a drink and a good book. Always thought it was just too yuppy a thing to do and still think that but it's also a nice way to kill an hour.

#6 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince followed closely by #7 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and #3 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban. All three are Snape-heavy.

Loaded question. It depends on if they are biting to kill, to feed, or to turn me into one of them. If the latter, then definitely Edward Cullen. To kill or feed, probably Barnabas Collins or Spike, aka William the Bloody, cause if you have to go, might as well make it good.

Not taking my brother Steve with us to see Les Miserables in New York City. I was given the choice to take someone and I took a friend of mine who I no longer speak to instead of Steve who introduced me to musical theater in the first place and he died a month after that.
